Finestrat, with a municipal
area of 42 Km2, enjoys a very pleasant climate, with very mild winters
and not too hot summers.
Only 6 km separate the beach from the hills. Once a Muslim settlement,
it is now a typical Mediterranean village, with its orchards of fruit
and almond trees between the sea and the Aitana hill range, including
the Puig Campana of 1,046 m.
In Finestrat it is possible to enjoy water sports in the bay of the
same name, which is only 2.5 km from the cosmopolitan centre of Benidorm.
