Alicante
is the second biggest city in the Valencian Community, and the capital
of the Costa Blanca. It stands in the bay of the same name at the
edge of the Mediterranean. It has an excepcional climate, with mild
winters and hot summers tempered by the sea breeze. It is easy to
walk around, and has a splendid infrastructure for congresses, plus
a very varied range of artistic, cultural, sports and leisure interests
which is confirmed by the hundreds of thousands of tourists who visit
the city every year.
Following the coast to the north, after the cape known as Cabo de
la Huerta we will find the beach called PLAYA SAN JUAN, with 6 km
of fine sand, all types of children's games and beach sports and a
large infrastructure with hotels, apartments, restaurants, bars, pubs,
discotheques, etc., and also a large water park to make your stay
in this area even more enjoyable.
